Support

We provide a support network for families affected by Sickle Cell Disease. We provide direct assistance to families and children through targeted, goal-driven programs while also partnering closely with fellow organizations and community leaders to provide collaborative solutions to the many issues associated with SCD.

One way we strive to accomplish the objectives is by offering programs to young adults with sickle cell that will enable them to develop the tools needed to enhance their quality of life and empower them to achieve long term success. We also will provide social assistance in the form of adult and youth services.

These programs will include career counseling seminars and sessions to help enhance entry level job skills. Additionally, they will include courses on financial independence as well as health and wellness and entrepreneurship. These courses have been structured on a 6-8 week timeframe with each course lasting two hours.

Our programs provide support to families and children battling illness by enhancing the the healthcare experience through comfort, care and safe and pleasant place to stay while caring for your loved one.
